This year, in addition to our regular routes (Old City Scavenger Hunt, the Shuk Dash and many more) we want to invite you to discover the story of Tzfat on our new Tfat Dash. Tzfat is a city of secrets, stories and spirituality, and the Tzfat Dash weaves the incredible story of a city that is charming and mystical. Navigate your way to the Cave of Shem and Ever, climb to the top of the Turkish Saraya “palace” bell tower, learn about the Rabbi that saved an entire community from an earthquake – and many more adventures. Here are some highlights of the Tzfat Dash.

The Saraya – Visit a palace built by a Moslem Sheich, climb to the top of the Turkish bell tower and learn how the Saraya served as a shelter for the Jews of Tzfat during the violent riots of 1929.
The Great Stairs of Tzfat were built by the British to separate between the Jewish and Moslem quarters, this stairway is key to learning the story of Tzfat in modern times.
The Davidka and pillbox – Based on numbers and the reality on the ground, the only way the Jewish fighters could win Tzfat in 1948 was through a miracle. At the Davidka station you’ll hear how that happened…
The General Art Gallery – hear all about the artistic soul of Tzfat at the General Art Gallery and compose your own creative pose
Of course in addition to learning the amazing story of a FASCINATING place, you’ll have some family bonding fun and add some special memories to your Israel trip!
This is what the Cohen and Harari families said about their Tzfat Dash “We have done 3 ScaVentures – Old City, Shuk Dash and Tsfat. All 3 were fantastic – great to do with families, appropriate for kids of all ages. We recommend to everyone we know going to Israel. You learn such interesting things, see so much and have a blast at the same time. We can’t wait to go back to Israel and do another.”
